Reedley is situated in the San Joaquin Valley lying inland from the Sierra Nevada mountains and just one hour away from the famous Yosemite park. The city itself has so much natural diversity, located by the Kings River, with lots of green space, parks and the natural beach which many locals visit during the summer month. The area dubs itself “The World’s Fruit Basket”, with its main source of economy being agriculture, particularly the production of fruit and vegetables. Residents of San Francisco can get to Reedley by car in just under four hours. To get to Reedley, you just need to get on I-80 E from Mission St and Folsom St and take l-580 E and CA-99 S to E Manning Avenue in Fresno County. Take the exit 121 from CA-99 S and then follow E Manning Ave to G Street in Reedley. Good places to take a break along the way are Turlock, Madera and Fresno.
If you would prefer to take a bus, jump on the 6855 to Fresno directly from the city, this takes around 4.5 hours. After, find the bus at the Greyhound station that runs to Reedley Community Center. These buses take about one hour and run throughout the day.
