The best route is to take the US-101 South, change to the I-80 E and continue until the I-580 E. From there, move on to the l-5 S and take exit 379 towards Shields Avenue/Mendota. Turn left on to Little Panoche Road and continue on West Shields Avenue for around 8 miles. This should take you into the hub of Mendota.
If you would prefer to leave your car at home, jump on the Greyhound 6855 and 6825 that leave twice daily. The trip takes more than four hours, but you have two stop-offs to stretch your legs in Oakland and Modesto.
